Listen to a Book? Seriously?

Listen to an audiobook! Many people enjoy hearing their favourite stories, as well as or instead of reading them. I will write about the pros and cons of the different approaches in another post. I already offer all my books as paperbacks and as e-books to give readers a choice. Now I have decided to add audiobooks to the options, at least for new titles.

Why listen to this short story?

There is a link below to the audio version of the short story, Lost on the Trail, which tells of an incident not mentioned in The Cowgirl Murders.  It is, however, closely linked to the novel, as it is set about halfway through the main story and involves several of the same characters. I hope you will enjoy it, and that it will give you a good taste of the novel. The voice you will hear is not the same as that in the full audiobook and I would love to know which you prefer.

Any feedback on any version of the book or on the short story, including on the quality of either of the audios, will be welcome. Why not give it a review on Amazon, on ACX , on the contact form on this website or on your own blog?
