Reviews of Traitor – where?

Reviews of Traitor are on Goodreads, but so far none on Amazon. You may find them helpful if you are unsure whether or not to read it, even if you have read my own comments on that novel before I self-published it.

The cover of Traitor. Reviews of Traitor are always welcome.

What do I think of the reviews?

I am, naturally, pleased to have so many good reviews and I take not of the negative comments too. Often, the negative and positive actually agree! What I mean is, that some people loved the period detail and the characters’ reflections on their situation, whist others thought they slowed the action. Some got the humour, whilst others did not even notice it. I am glad most reviewers liked the characters.

What do the reviews of Traitor mean for you?

My advice is that you should expect disappointment if you like you historical novels to be all-action. On the other hand, if you like more discussion of the issues and deeper insights into the characters and the setting, you are more likely to find it satisfying.

What do they mean for me?

I will try to build on my strengths whilst trying to correct my weaknesses and maintaining the balance. Let me know what you think.
